USC High School Math Contest - 1998 Info

The 13th Annual High School Mathematics Contest at the University of South Carolina is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 1998. All South Carolina high schools are cordially invited to participate. Our goal is to stimulate interest in mathematics among high school students and to recognize those who exhibit exceptional talent. At the conclusion of the contest, prizes will be awarded to outstanding individual participants and to winning teams. This year, prizes include a four-year full tuition, a four-year half-tuition, and a four-year quarter-tuition scholarship to attend USC.

Application forms were sent to all South Carolina high schools on October 9. Addresses for these schools are obtained from the State Department of Education's list of Districts and Schools. If your school does not show up on this list or if you never received your application form, then please call Bob Murphy at (803)777-4686 or send email to murphy.
